SHABBAT AND FESTIVAL SERVICES
Please join us for our services and lunch when you are in Wichita!
If you are a guest to our community and would like to attend services, please contact Hannah See at the AAC office at office@aacwichita.org in advance. If your name is not on our official guest list, you may be turned away at the door.
AAC holds regular Shabbat, Festival and Sunday morning services.
Our services are egalitarian, emphasizing both familiar and new melodies,
and encouraging community involvement. We use Siddur Lev Shalem for Shabbat and Festivals,
and for weekday morning services.
Shabbat morning services are from 9:00am-12:00 each Saturday morning,
followed by a sit-down Kiddush lunch.
Friday evening services are typically held on the first and third Fridays of each month, though occasional schedule changes may occur. On the first Friday, Cantor Pepperstone leads a lively, participatory musical service with AAC’s house band, Avir-Ron. The service is followed by a kosher potluck Shabbat dinner, open to all (a sign-up is circulated in advance for those who wish to contribute a dish). On the third Friday, Cantor Pepperstone leads the service in a more traditional format.
Sunday morning (weekday) services are held on Sunday morning at 9:00 am,
and are followed by breakfast in the Social Hall and Torah study.
